Week 6: The Horned Frog was just a Push

This week was once again horrible for us. We somehow went a combined 5-14-1, making it our second worse week of the season. Jim and I went 2-3, while Koontz went 1-4 and Kevin went 0-4-1. The good news is that we are all still bunched up at the top, with the exception of Kevin who week in and week out is doing a good job of making up no ground whatsover. The TCU game must have been a tough one to swallow as they failed to cover by just a 1/2 point. The better news is that Wisconsin won again, and is now 9th in the new BCS standings. Too bad we didn't play a tougher non-conference schedule and too bad we didn't have Michigan at home or we could be talking about the BCS Championship game. Also, I overlooked that the game between Miami (OH) and Buffalo that was originally cancelled has been played. Mike picked this game and had Miami (OH) (-8). Well they won by the score of 38-31, but failed to cover. Well, here are the updated standings.

Standings after week 6 (as of November 13, 2006)
Jim: 15-15
Me: 15-15
Koontz: 9-11
Kevin: 10-18-2
Mike: 0-5

Check back on Thursday for Week 7 picks.
